About This Course

The Shuttering Carpenter (Formwork) course trains students in the design, erection, and dismantling of temporary formwork structures used to mold concrete for columns, beams, slabs, walls, and foundations.

Shuttering carpenters are essential to every reinforced concrete (RCC) construction project. Without formwork, no concrete structure can be built. This is one of the most consistently high-paying construction trades in Gulf countries where large-scale infrastructure and high-rise projects are ongoing. This course is affiliated with CTEVT (Center for Technical Education and Vocational Training), Nepal.
